Lucia & Matthew – November 21, 2009
As much as I want to post throughout the year sometimes it gets way from me, but there were some wedding and sessions from last year that I don’t want to let go by without mention. Lucia and Matthew were one of our favorite couples from last year. They were so fun and gracious it made for a great day! I was glad to have Renee along to help with this one.
I started at Lucia’s parent’s home where Lucia and the bridesmaids were getting ready. Renee met up with Matthew and the guys. After some photos we headed to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel for the ceremony. Once we finished formals at the church we had a few stops before the reception at the Courthouse. First was lunch at Massimo Da Milano’s, then to Lucia’s parents’ home and finally to Matthew’s parents’ home. We got to the Courthouse early enough to take some photos before the guests started arriving. While we were photographing details at the reception we wanted to be sure to get some pics of the fantastic cakes and dessert table from Michaelangelo’s bakery, which Matthew’s family owns, by the way. In fact Matthew and his brother made their wedding cakes and as you can see from the photos below they were awesome! A Taste of Excellence catered the event and did a fantastic job. After dinner a live band played and the dance floor was packed all night long. What a blast!
